Watercolor Painting 101 Workshop: Collages

Join us for a creative and relaxing introduction to watercolor painting—with a twist! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore how to layer transparent watercolor washes and mix media to create two one-of-a-kind collaged artworks.

• Learn the basics of watercolor materials: paper, brushes, and paint

• Practice layering transparent washes for depth and texture

• Explore how to paint loose flowers and expressive birds

• Tear and arrange pages from books to add texture and personality

• Plan your collage layout and combine watercolor with ink or colored pencil

• Leave with two original 5 x 7 collaged artworks that are uniquely yours
