Spend a relaxed Halloween-season evening transforming plastic spiders, beetles, rats, and other creepy creatures into glittering, jeweled works of art. Choose from a variety of unexpected treasures and pile your workspace high with rhinestones, beads, glitter, and color.

Our instructor will bring everything you need, including a massive assortment of creatures, embellishments, tools, and wire. You'll learn how to securely wire a pin mechanism directly onto your piece rather than simply gluing it, leaving with a one-of-a-kind brooch for yourself or an unusually fun gift. No experience required—it's easy enough for a first-time maker, but open-ended enough for experienced artists to go wild!

About The Instructor

Award-winning jewelry artist, author and educator Sugar Gay Isber McMillan has created jewelry for Lady Gaga, Tiffany & Co. windows, Martha Stewart and museums across North America. She has taught jewelry design at Austin Community College since 2012, serves as a Creative Ambassador for Fire Mountain Gems and is an ambassador for Aves Apoxie Sculpt. Named one of Texas' top artisans by Hermès, Sugar is passionate about helping beginners discover how much fun jewelry making can be. Her classes are relaxed, creative and designed so everyone leaves with something beautiful.
