TAP - IN

CREATIVE PROJECTS WITH HACKNEY ARTISTS AND MAKERS

Events list

TAP IN is a new series of evening workshops for adults, hosted by Make Club in the wonderful new community workshop space at Dalston Curve Garden

To launch the project we are offering a limited number of EARLY BIRD TICKETS for the first few sessions!

TAP-IN is a programme of projects led by Hackney artists, designers and Makers. They will be sharing their processes and skills in a welcoming, accessible atmosphere. Each project will be different, introducing a range of approaches to making. Get tips, tricks and insights into developing your creative process from the people that know.

Are you saturated with the digital information, are you fed up of being in front of a screen and not using your hands to make?

Let’s go against the grain and make real things!

Let’s make something handmade which connects you with your creative flow, and take time out in a mindful way.

Strengthen your play muscle which is increasingly recognised as crucial to learning and innovation.

And lastly, let’s remember that in these uncertain times, what could be more important than to ground and connect ourselves with making art!

Make Club lead artist, Emily Tracy says…

As an artist who has lived and worked in Hackney since the 1990s, I’ve had the pleasure of crossing paths with so many inspiring local artists, designers, and makers. TAP IN is born from a desire to celebrate and share that creative wealth — while giving people a chance to connect, learn new skills, and take a break from the everyday.
