GET INTO COLLAGE

Project tutor: Artist Emily Tracy

Time: 7pm - 9pm 

This is a one off project.

To kick off TAP-IN join artist Emily to learn collage techniques and ways into making your own style. 

We will use a use variety of papers from the artists personal collection of vintage magazines, colour, texture and found papers. We will look at examples of collage by a variety of artists.

We will start with some quick-fire collages, building up to a longer make, giving us time to discuss ways of starting, ideas for collecting papers and incorporating the personal. We will also look at ways of presenting your collages as zines or 3D artworks.

This will be a fun hands-on for the beginner or, for the returning collagist!

ABOUT Emily Tracy

Emily is a multi- disciplinary artist based in Hackney, working with collage to make wall-based and sculptural pieces incorporating objects, as well as a socially engaged practice creating installation and public art. She started Make Club 6 years ago as a project which

which invites participants young and old to construct, experiment, and make art.
