Tavistock Ghost Tour

Join us for chills, thrills, and tales from the shadows of Dartmoor's ancient gateway. Guided by the captivating Lawrence, you'll journey through Tavistock's Victorian streets, riverside paths and historic landmarks.  Along the way, uncover spine-tingling stories of restless spirits and the dark secrets that linger from the town's past. 

Meeting at Bedford Square outside the Town Hall, for the tour to begin at 8.15pm.

Just one of the ghosts found in Tavistock is that of Betsy Grimbal who is said was killed by a solder, and their ghost has been seen peering outside the windows of this 15th century gatehouse.

After the tour, participants are invited to join us at The Tavistock Inn on Brook Street for a drink and chance to share stories.
