My Magic Memory Jar and Me

Seven Shepton Mallet primary schools come together to create My Magic Memory Jar and Me

In December Magic Memory Jars burst up in playgrounds across Shepton Mallet. This show is the culmination of ideas, thoughts and responses to this. The show has been formed entirely from the ideas and imaginations of young people in Shepton.

 Follow the journey of children from Shepton Mallet as they travel across strange and magical lands and discover the workings of memory in a plight to help Iris's granny.

Children have been working with local dance artists, theatre makers and choreographers to create this amazing show.

Performed by St Aldhelm's Church School, Bowlish Infant School, The Federation of Croscombe and Stoke St Michael, The Mendip School, Shepton Mallet Infants School, St Paul's Junior School and St Paul's Voices

This event takes place at St Paul's Junior School.

Tickets are free but any donations to support Make the Sunshine's programme after the show are greatly appreciated. Thank you to Shepton Mallet Town Council, Glastonbury Festival and an anonymous donor for supporting these workshops and production.
