The Sunshine Club: Cafe Making

Come and join us for The Sunshine Club: Community Café 

A fun, friendly Starter course where adults with learning disabilities and learning differences can use creativity - making, drama-games, cooking - to build confidence, communication, teamwork and everyday life skills.

Through café-themed games, craft, song and role-play you’ll practise making choices, making the space, working with others, preparing refreshments and taking on different roles. Together, over the eight week course we’ll have lots of fun and also work together to create and run our own welcoming pop-up community café for real visitors in December designed by you.

It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, try new things and discover what you can do. No experience is needed, and support is available.

Thanks to our learning partnership with Somerset County Council this opportunity is FREE for learners aged 19+

Please note booking here is to sign up for the course - you then need to undertake registeration through Somerset County Council (we will send a link to this and can support with this if helpful).

There are future courses in Spring and Summer. This is a progressive course meaning learners can move straight onto the next courses
