Connect, Play, Create: Stories That Bring Us Together

A fun and playful 10-week course for parents, carers and their children.

Explore favourite books and stories through music, movement, imaginative props and BIG play. A fun, creative space filled with sensory props. Together, you might bring characters to life, make sounds and movements, play storytelling games and create new adventures of your own.

The course will help you build connection through shared play and imagination, learn simple storytelling games and activities to enjoy at home and meet and connect with other families.

Each family will create a Toolkit filled with favourite songs, storytelling prompts, book ideas and creative activities to continue enjoying together at home.

No creative or storytelling experience is needed. 65min session, 25mins connection, play and refreshments

Thanks to our learning partnership with Somerset Council, this course is FREE for parents and carers aged 19+ and their families who meet the eligibility criteria. Booking is required.

Please note: your booking reserves a place on the full 10-week course. You will also need to register as a learner with Somerset Council. We will send you a link to complete this.

This is a progressive course, so learners will be able to move directly onto the next Connect, Play, Create Developer Course: Movement That Connects in the Spring
