' Chelsea Flower Show ' は例年イギリスの祝日 “バンクホリデー” の前週に開催されます。今年（2025年）は5月20日から5日間にわたり行われました。
今年は、AI（人工知能）を活用したガーデンデザインの試みや、菌糸体を利用したサステナブルな素材の活用、ドッグフレンドリーを意識した庭づくりなど、新しいアプローチが目立ちました。自然とテクノロジー、人と生態系の関わり方を問い直すような作品も多く登場し、従来のガーデンデザインに一石を投じる内容となっています。

Description (English)
The Chelsea Flower Show takes place each year in the week leading up to the UK’s Bank Holiday, and in 2025 it was held from 20 to 24 May. This year highlighted new directions in garden design, from AI-driven creativity and mycelium-based sustainable materials to dog-friendly approaches to outdoor spaces. Our lecture (conducted in Japanese) will explore key highlights from the 2025 Show and consider how these emerging ideas can inspire everyday gardening and design practice.
