Learn how design your own page inspired by medieval illuminated manuscripts. We teach you the steps of how design a page from scratch using your own text. This workshop will give you the steps involved and create the confidence to start making your own illuminated pages. The event is run by Tania Crossingham and Pauliina Yliniitty - both experienced teachers and artists.

The workshop will run from 9am -11am Helsinki (Eastern European Time) via a Zoom link. The link will be emailed you a few days before the event. 

The entire workshop will be recorded, so if the time zone makes it difficult for you to attend the live event, you will still get full access to the workshop videos, instructions and all resource materials. We also provide a space for you to upload your work, to ask for assistance during the workshop and share your work with others. You can also upload your work down the track and ask for help or feedback.

For this workshop you will only need 

• some A4 paper ( photocopy paper is fine - no expensive or special paper required )
• a sharp pencil ( preferably a mechanical pencil, or a regular pencil and sharpener)
• a soft white eraser
• a 30cm ruler
