The Regions Best Bonfire and Firework Experience

The Village Bonfire and Firework Display has been running in the Village for the past 30 years. It has developed into one of the region’s biggest and best displays but still keeping its ‘Village’ feel. This is something the organisers strive to keep – a friendly, safe and real value for money event.
We have been extremely fortunate to have living within the Village a Fireworks expert , ‘John’ has designed and developed fireworks over many years. John is also is a special effects expert making many effects for Theme Parks and Movies in the UK and abroad so The Perfect person for a very dramatic display.

You will not see anything like our display anywhere else.

Entrance by advance ONLINE TICKET ONLY. Ticket numbers are also being limited - First Come Basis. This is to ensure capacity for car parking and those attending. 

If the weather and parking conditions allow a 2nd wave of tickets might be released in the week prior to the event.

To guarantee entry buy early.

CAR PARKING 

Parking is free at our event. It is parking on fields with very kind permission of local landowners. Obviously if wet it can be tricky so please be patient, if POSSIBLE PLEASE LIFT SHARE. This will make life a great deal easier with less cars👍👍👍

If you know anyone in the village it would be great if you can park with them.

FOOD

We will have our usual array of fabulous food outlets including a Hog Roast this year and traditional Bratwurst Sausage BBQ.

Full Bar,  serving Flying Monk real ale, Moretti lager, Thatchers cider, mixed cans, mulled wine and cider, soft drinks.

Please Note - As part of the licensing rules the bar will run a ‘Challenge 25’ policy so anyone looking younger than 25 will need to bring a valid form of photo I/D

Kids Soft Drinks Bar, Glow Sticks and illuminated novelties for the children.

We will have Free Sparklers available from our Safe Sparkler Area being run by Fatboys Children with Cancer Charity so if you’d like to make a donation please do👍😀

Kids entertainment with a variety of 'Fair Ground' stalls with Quality Prizes every time.

Guy Competition with the Winner to light the Bonfire and Prizes for All Entries and amazing £50 for the winner.

TIMETABLE

• 5.30 p.m. Gates open (Refreshments available) Please don’t arrive before this as we won’t be ready for you
  6.15p.m. Guy Competition Judging (Guys in place by 6.10 At the Control Point next to the Bar)
  6.20p.m. Guy Competition Prizes £50 cash prize for the winner
  6.30p.m. Electronic Lighting of the Bonfire by Guy Competition Winner
• 7.30p.m Firework Display earliest – (This will depend on how far the Bonfire has burnt down, we don’t want to spoil the display with smoke blowing over the display)
