The Region's Best Bonfire & Firework Experience

For over 30 years, the Christian Malford Bonfire & Firework Display has grown into one of the region's most spectacular events while proudly keeping its village atmosphere. Every year we aim to deliver a safe, family-friendly evening packed with excitement and fantastic value for money.

Our breathtaking displays are designed by local fireworks expert John, whose work has featured in theme parks and major film productions in the UK and overseas. His experience guarantees a truly unforgettable show.

🥤 Dedicated Children's Refreshment Stand – Easier access to soft drinks, hot chocolate, sweets, glow products and illuminated novelties.

🎟 Tickets

Advance online tickets only.

Numbers are limited to ensure a comfortable event and adequate parking, so book early to avoid disappointment.

If weather and ground conditions allow, a limited second release of tickets may be available during the week before the event.

🚗 Free Parking

Parking is free and fully organised by our volunteers on local fields, kindly made available by village landowners.

If conditions are wet, please be patient while arriving and leaving.

Please don't all rush off all at once as you will be in a queue, stay and enjoy a drink, bite to eat, music and warm yourself by the fire.

Where possible, please lift-share or park on a friend's driveway within the village to help reduce traffic.

🍔 Food & Drink

Enjoy a fantastic range of food including:

• Local free-range hog roast
• Traditional charcoal BBQ bratwurst
• Food options for a range of dietary requirements

Our fully licensed bar serves:

• Real ale
• Premium lager
• Thatchers cider
• Mulled wine & cider
• Soft drinks

Challenge 25 will be in operation, so please bring valid photo ID if you look under 25.

The Children's Refreshment Stand will also offer:

• Soft drinks
• Hot chocolate with cream & marshmallows
• Glow sticks & illuminated novelties
• Sweets
• Toffee apples

Beer, cider, lager and wine will also be available from this stand to help reduce queues.

✨ Free Sparklers

Free sparklers will be available from our Safe Sparkler Area.

Please do not bring your own sparklers.

Event Timetable

5:00 pm – Gates Open (food & refreshments available)

5:30 pm – Guy Competition Judging 

5:40 pm – Guy Competition Prize Giving

6:00 pm – Quiet Firework Display

6:15 pm – Bonfire Lighting by the Guy Competition Winner

6:30 pm – Live Music

7:30 pm (approx.) – Main Firework Display

(The exact time depends on the bonfire burning down sufficiently to ensure the best possible display.)

Live music continues after the fireworks.

Why rush home? Stay by the fire, enjoy some food and drink, have a dance and let the traffic clear before heading home.
