Death Milkshake is an Irish multi-instrumentalist live looping artist who fuses electronic sounds with an alt-rock edge, creating a unique beat driven hybrid sound. Taking inspiration from the likes of Digitalism, Daft Punk, and LCD Soundsystem, simple driving beats underpin Bass guitar and synth tones layered beneath heavily effected vocals. The performance is essentially fully live electronica, created by playing instruments rather than triggering samples.
The music is influenced by electronic dance music, post punk and progressive rock with Lyrical content ranging from deliberate social commentary to utterly ridiculous nonsense. The first 2 singles released have received airplay on RTE Radio 1, Today FM, 8 Radio and RTE 2XM, with the latter being chosen as the ‘Nessy-Recommends’ track of the week on RTE 2XM during it’s release week. Debut EP to be released on April 17th 2024. 2024 will also include a run of live shows in support of the EP, and a number of summer festival appearances.

From Glendalough, Co. Wicklow, Patrick Kelleher emerged onto Dublin's underground music scene in 2009 with the dark, Lo-Fi dream-pop epic You Look Cold. This was followed up in 2011 with another bedroom-produced classic, this time in the form of 80s-style synth-pop album Golden Syrup, which was shortlisted for a Meteor Choice Music prize in 2012. He played across Ireland, UK, Europe and occasionally the Americas with his band, Patrick Kelleher and his Cold Dead Hands, before settling down to have a family and work full-time supporting adults with disabilities.
In 2020 Patrick collaborated with friend and producer Brian Conniffe to release the minimal industrial techno-synth EP, Stereolith, on Remote Town Records. Patrick wrote this bio himself because he is a big boy, well done Patrick.
