Malvern Poetry Workshops are an encouraging and friendly space in which to develop your poetry writing skills. All levels are welcome, from beginners to more advanced writers, and are designed to offer a creative and supportive environment in which to create new writing as well as learn new techniques and improve your existing work.
Our sessions take place in person in Malvern, Worcestershire, at Malvern Cube. The venue is located near to the Great Malvern train station and the town centre, and is fully accessible.
The tutor is Jane Commane, an experienced and award-winning poet and publisher, who has taught poetry for the University of Warwick, The Arvon Foundation, Writing West Midlands, Poetry School, Ledbury Poetry Festival, and many others. Jane has been editor at independent poetry publisher Nine Arches Press since 2008. Her poetry collection, Assembly Lines, was published by Bloodaxe in 2018, and she is the recipient of the Cholmondeley Award from the Society of Authors, and a Jerwood Compton Poetry Fellowship.
