UCLAN ROLLERSKI COACHING SESSION

26th APRIL 2025

FINAL SESSION WITH INSTRUCTOR COACHING & THEMED WORKSHOP

This is final formal coaching session of the 2024/25 season. With 1 hours skiing, a break, then the second hour Mike Smith & Ros Brown-Grant will be running a session on preparing for the Northern Roll Events. So come on down and tweak that technique, ready for the Endurance Event on the 10th May. Don't forget to sign up, deails will be sent out soon.

Once again we will start on Saturday morning at 9.45 until 12.30, with a short break for a brew etc. Bring your own drinks and snacks if you like or the cafe is open

So, if you are relatively new to the sport, a seasoned roller skier or preparing for an on snow adventure, we hope you will be able to join us and receive some top-notch coaching.

24th May 10.30am -12.30pm

21st June 10.30am -12.30pm

26th July 10.30am-1.30pm (including coaches workshop)

30th August 10.30am -12.30pm

 If hiring boots, early booking is recommended in case there is a high demand for your size. Please arrive by 9.20 if hiring kit.

Cost: 

Sessions with kit hire will cost £15.00 for adults or £8.00 with own kit.

Under 18's cost is £8.00 with or without kit hire.

Membership: Come to as many or as few sessions as you like. Just a reminder that for insurance purposes we have to ask anyone who is not yet a club member to join the club if they wish to continue with the coaching after an initial taster session.

Safety:

It is a requirement that you wear a helmet for the sessions – most people use a cycle helmet. The club does not provide helmets so you will need to bring your own. 

The club has some knee and elbow pads which can be borrowed if hiring kit for the sessions and you are strongly advised to bring and wear gloves.

In accordance with our booking terms at UCLAN, all participants must join a coaching group. Independent circuit skiing is not allowed.

Refund Policy:

The session will NOT be cancelled due to rain, but in the event that the session has to be cancelled due to other factors booking fees will be refunded.
