ROLLER SKI ENDURANCE EVENT

The event is aimed at both those that have only recently taken up rollerskiing as well as the more experienced rollerskier. You have the option of skiing for half an hour on a relatively flat course or an hour on a course that includes a bridge.

Details:

Track open: 1.30pm 

Race brief: 2.00pm (at start line) 

Race start: 2.15pm (both events). 

Kit hire: There will be kit hire for this event.

Safety

It is a requirement that you wear a helmet (e.g cycle helmet) at all time when skiing and eye protection (e.g sun/tinted glasses) must we worn when competing in the race. The wearing of gloves, knee and elbow pads and other protection is at the skier’s discretion. The club does not provide helmets, eye protection or other protective equipment (unless you hire kit when knee and elbow pads are available).

BOOKING CONDITIONS:

Only those who have pre-booked may compete.

Under 18’s must be accompanied by an appropriate adult, who does not need to purchase a ticket if not competing.

To participate in this event, you need to belong to one of the following organisations:

• Snowsport England (SE) blue membership or greater
• Snowsport Scotland
• Snowsport Cymru Wales
• BNDS

It is requested that SE members who are not MCCSC members add MCCSC as one of their clubs to their SE membership profile.
