HAMMERS HEROES - An Evening With ALVIN MARTIN @ The Brandon Groves, South Ockendon - Friday 11th September 2026

We are pleased to announce that after a three year break, we will be back at The Brandon Groves Community Club  on Friday 11th September 2026 for an evening with West Ham and England Legend, Alvin Martin. 

PAYMENT METHOD - PLEASE READ:

We have been advised that some internet browsers are having difficulty processing payments to purchase tickets when selecting 'Debit/Credit Card' as the payment option. We would therefore recommend paying directly through PayPal (selecting 'PayPal' as the option) or alternatively you can now purchase the tickets through this website and select 'Direct Transfer', which allows you to transfer the funds directly to our bank account. Please note we do not offer 'buy now, pay later' so the payment is required at the same time as the booking. If the payment is not received the same day, the booking will be cancelled. 

AS WITH ALL EVENTS, ALL GUESTS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. ALL TICKETS NON-REFUNDABLE.

The evening also includes a Q&A, memorabilia shop, as well as photo and autograph opportunities with Alvin*. 

*We want all our events to give supporters access to the players in an enjoyable and informal environment. It’s important to us that people get a memory from the event including their own photos/autographs and unlike many other similar events held by third parties, we do not charge extra for this. However, following feedback from a previous event, we now reserve the right to restrict the amount of autographs obtained and if we feel that our flexible approach is being abused, we reserve the right to ask the former players to stop signing or remove individuals from the event. Unfortunately a few attendees have spoilt this for the many.

Tickets are £17.50 (plus a £2 website booking fee) per person and are very limited. There is a cash pay bar available throughout the event and guests are welcome in the bar area before and after the event. Tickets can be purchased on an individual basis or in groups and a table plan with allocated seating will be available at the front of the venue at the beginning of the night.

The event starting promptly at 7.30pm. There will be an short break in the middle with the event concluding no later than 10.00pm. 

Dress code is casual. Ample parking, including blue badge, is available directly outside the club.

Anyone purchasing tickets for this event will have a wristband left on the door for the evening to gain admittance. PLEASE NOTE that entry will be refused if you are unable to present the wristband on the day or when requested by security. THIS IS A TICKET ONLY EVENT - NO TICKETS AVAILABLE ON THE NIGHT.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SALE:
All guests are subject to availability. All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable and non-cancellable. 

We work very hard to organise these events and player bookings are based on trust and understanding. Sometimes due to extenuating circumstances outside our control, players can cancel on us. In the event of a former player not being able to attend due to circumstances outside our control, an alternative former player will be sought where reasonably possible. We will not be able to issue any refunds if there are any changes to the advertised line up. When purchasing a ticket to our events, please treat it in the same way you would purchasing tickets to a concert, show, gig or football match - that is, as an example - if you can no longer attend for whatever reason, including but not limited to, if you are not happy with the change in advertised line up, we will not be able to issue a refund. The reason for this approach is simple - we are a small business still hugely impacted by the cancellations owing to COVID. As soon as a ticket is purchased, a portion of the amount paid is subject to immediate website deductions and payment fees if via PayPal, as well as standard ongoing business costs. We do not get these fees back if we were to issue refunds. In addition, we also have upfront costs, for example: venue hire, sound system hire, security staff, player deposits and waitress/staffing costs to pay. This is therefore why tickets are non-refundable and non-cancellable. We are however happy for people to pass tickets onwards to friends/family, providing we are notified so we can amend the ticket names etc. In the very unlikely circumstances that a scheduled event needs to be cancelled, it will be re-arranged to a new date with all tickets remaining valid.
