Manhattan Theatre Source was founded by a group of passionate artists in 2000 at 177 MacDougal St. Though we closed our brick and mortar in 2011, our passion and art have continued!  We've produced awesome artists and performances across the city every year through EstroGenius, now COLLECTIVEGENIUS, sometimes in 5 venues at once! 

Now, in 2026 we are hosting an opening party, a re-boot of the Source's own Spontaneous Combustion and the 26th annual Festival, spanning from midtown to Brooklyn!
