Manhattan Theatre Source Season Opening Soiree!

Join us at the one and only Soho Grand in NYC to open the Source season in style! This year we'll celebrate our dear flagship Fest's new name: COLLECTIVEGENIUS, the return of our fave 48hr play series Spontaneous Combustion and look ahead to a collaborative relaunch of our incredible play development gathering InGenius. Let's revel in person with pop-up performances, plans to make art, see art and be in community - in one of the classiest living-rooms around. 

MAP OF THE NIGHT

• • 6:00pm - Arrivals and cocktails
  • 6:45pm - A short welcome from the team and a video of Theatre Source moments - straws are drawn for the night's play writing challenge.
  • 7:00pm - pop-up performance of 2024 Fest playwright Amelia Kennedy's play "I Keep Leaving Parties Early" & play from the Spontaneous Archives, curated by Stuart Green and James Edward Becton III
  • 7:30pm - Time to mingle
  • 8:00pm - A little more theatre from the Archives and a surprise play written over the evening
  • 8:30pm - Time to make plans around the upcoming festival
