Escape the hustle and bustle with a day on the river at our Drift & Dine: River Float & Picnic event! Join in on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 for a serene and enjoyable float followed by a delightful potluck picnic with fellow like-minded people. Lounge in the sun, dip your toes in the water, and savor the simple joys of a day spent outside.

Date & Time:
July 12th, 2025
11:00 AM: Meet at the location, talk about safety, blow up tubes, and apply sunscreen.
12:30-ish PM: Begin getting into the water together as a group.
1:00 PM: Officially start floating down the river and enjoy the picnic goodies provided.
5:00-ish PM: Finish up our river float. (Potential option of going out to eat afterward together nearby)

Fall City area, just 35โ40 minutes from central Seattle OR about 45-60 minutes from Everett.
(Location and directions will be provided once the donation is sent. If you need to carpool, there will be a group chat and weโll coordinate together.)

Enjoy a leisurely float, enjoying the serene landscape and soaking up the summer sun. Whether youโre new to floating or a seasoned pro, this relaxing river journey is perfect for reconnecting with nature and friends.
๐ฅ Potluck Picnic
During our float, Iโll be bringing snacks and lunch for everyone to enjoy. Itโs the perfect way to unwind and connect over great food!

Bring your own inner tube: $40 per person
Rent/Borrow an inner tube: $60 per person
REGULAR TICKET PRICES:

๐ Tickets include access to the private event, vegan snacks & lunch, electrolytes, additional drinking water, a chance to make new connections, and an extra layer of safety/protection. As your event host & guide, Iโm Wilderness First Aid Certified. Iโll bring an extensive first aid kit and backup essentials to ensure our safety. This price also includes me/one other person picking you up from your car and bringing you to the water. As well as snacks! Not to mention, Iโll be helping guide and paddling us along the river as the lead tuber. As well as giving safety talks, bringing emergency supplies, helping spark the conversations, and staying on top of the necessities.โ

What to Bring:

UV shielding long-sleeve

Natural/Deet-free bug spray
Water shoes or sandals for walking along the riverbank
Inflatable tubes ONLY (Weโll often be linking together). Rentals are also available for a small fee (please indicate during RSVP).
Towels (This can be kept in your car for after)
A change of clothes for after the float (This can be kept in your car for after)
Paddles (optional)
Personal flotation device/life jacket (Not required but recommended)
Water bottle (Iโll bring a water filtration pump for additional water) Try bringing one that will fit in your inner tube cup holder.

Additional Information
-Important Note: Everyone joining the river float must be able to swim.
-This event is exclusively for adults aged 18 and above.
-The event will happen through rain or shine - please consider this & be prepared!
-No glass, alcohol, weed, any kinds of drugs, or pets please (All events I host are sober - for the safety of you, me, and everyone else)
--Do not leave anything valuable in your car. Itโs still a trailhead. All your belongings are your responsibility. (But I will provide bags for your phone and keys)
-All events I host are non-refundable - for you and me- please consider that when booking.
-Although this event is vegan/vegetarian-focused, anyone who is veg-friendly is welcome! ๐
-๐ฟ Letโs remember to respect Mother Nature and leave no trace behind during our adventures. Please, no glass, and try to bring something to hold your trash. Iโll also bring extra garbage bags.
-Overall, you are responsible for yourself and your health. Iโm not held responsible for any injuries during the event. Although I do my best to prevent them and help keep you safe, I am not liable. By attending, you accept and understand these terms.
-Iโm Wilderness First Aid trained, and Iโll always have my first aid kit and a water pump for emergency water refills.
-Carpooling is encouraged to reduce environmental impact.
