Killzone 2 was released in 2009 and met with widespread critical acclaim, praised for its extraordinary visuals, gritty and intense action, and groundbreaking online multiplayer. Joris de Man’s soundtrack was recognized with the first-ever Ivor Novello Award for Best Video Game Score.

In this behind-the-scenes session, Joris explores how the soundtrack was conceived, his approach to composing interactive in-game music, and the experience of recording at Abbey Road Studios with some of London’s finest session musicians.
