The Nutshell! 2022

December 22nd and 23rd at 7:00pm

Come see the whole world of dance this year, in The Nutshell!  The immersive Nutcracker celebration that includes every dancer and every culture.

You’ll see Chinese and Indian Classical Dance, Flamenco, Folklorico, Jazz dance and more, all to the familiar music of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, and created by guest artists who specialize in each particular style of dance.  This year will also feature the San Francisco Boys Choir with a holiday program to help us ring in the festivities!

The Nutshell! is more than just watching dance, however.  Brave audience members young and old will be drafted as mice and soldiers for the battle scene, and everyone who remains on the sidelines will be treated to a lesson in how to dance the waltz of the flowers with their favorite partner.
