Family Opera Concert - Walthamstow

Come and join Jennifer with Mantissa Opera for a fun-filled family opera concert at Blackhorse Road Baptist Church, Walthamstow.

Experience opera in a relaxed, inclusive environment.

Come and hear highlights from some of their previously staged operas such as Carmen, The Magic Flute and La Traviata. Can you guess which language the songs are in and what's going on?!

Ever fancied being in an opera? Hear Mantissa's version of a scene from The Pirates of Penzance with a chance for anyone to take part!

Jennifer is a local Mum, music teacher and opera singer dedicated to bringing live opera to all children and families in the area. She co-runs Mantissa Opera which will bring four professional singers and a pianist to entertain and delight you! This includes the wonderful Rachel Falaise, David Menezes, Simon Tatnall and our brilliant pianist Louisa Lam.

From nesting baby birds to swash buckling pirates, there's many exciting stories to tell in Opera.
