An open invite to local farmers to discover how the Manx Food Market Traders Association want to develop a flourishing foodies culture on the island and develop new and significant opportunities for local producers to sell direct to consumers through simple, flexible and financially rewarding channels.
- Who are the Manx FMTA, what is their ethos and why do they exist?
- What are their planned opportunities and what would be expected of local producers if they got involved? - including the proposed Port Erin Foodies Market for early 2024
- Their approach to challenging some of the infrastructure and other challenges specific to developing sales for Manx producers- (pressure group and partner to official organisations)
And an open discussion for feedback from famrers on what we can do to help them grow local sales and promote their businesses.
