Screening of "Contracorriente" (Undertow)

In a small town by the sea, pervasive homophobia drives Miguel to hide his true identity in favor of playing the role of the town’s “Golden Boy,” as he and his wife Mariela await the arrival of their first born child. It’s unclear if the town’s vicious attitude to the outsider, Santiago, is the reason he disappears, but Miguel will eventually find he must lose everything to gain back who he really is.
