A Community Open Mic by Maple Street Garden

Join us for a  Community Open Mic Night at Awesome Brooklyn.

This year, because our garden is financially stable, we have chosen to split the proceeds with two local organizations: the Caribbean Equality Project and Equality for Flatbush. The theme of the evening is Staying Rooted. We are living in challenging and tumultuous times, and there are an infinite number of reasons to be angry, frightened, and concerned. It is more important than ever that we stay rooted in our community and commit to joy and resilience. We hope this evening will help you make room for joy and connection while supporting the amazing work of these two organizations.

• Tickets are $15 per person and include one drink ticket.
• Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

This evening is a special event where members of our garden and our neighbors come together to express themselves. We share stories, sing, tell jokes,  and get to know each other. Whether you come to perform or listen, we're excited to welcome you!
