Gingerbread Magic at Mapleview Centre

Experience a magical, mini gingerbread filled land that includes a whimsical walkway lined with candy canes and swirl lollipops. The Mapleview Gingerbread Decorating Experience is open from December 1st to December 23rd, 2023 where guests of all ages can decorate their very own scrumptious gingerbread cookie where 100% of proceeds will be donated to the McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation.

With Instagram-worthy visuals, this one-of-a-kind event is an interactive and yummy experience for children of all ages, while creating memorable moments and giving back to our local children’s hospital foundation this holiday season.

JOIN US! Mapleview’s Gingerbread Magic

• Location: Upper Level near Sporting Life at Mapleview Centre (900 Maple Ave., Burlington, Ontario)

• Dates: Various times and days between December 1st to December 23rd, 2023

• Fees: $15 Per Child - Includes access to the Mapleview’s Gingerbread Magic experience, gingerbread cookie decorating session and other fun surprises.

You can also visit out gift wrapping station supporting the McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation, conveniently located on the Lower Level adjacent to Guest Services.

Q: Can I cancel my reservation?
A: Yes. To receive a full refund you must cancel no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for your refund to be applied. Please contact support@theggmediagroup.com for cancellations.

Q: Can I bring additional guests with me to my reservation?
A: We are only able to accommodate the precise number of guests you purchased tickets for. Each guest decorating a cookie requires a ticket. Parents and guardians are required to supervise and stay with their child for the duration of the experience.

Q: Is there somewhere to store my child’s stroller/carrier?
A: Yes, your child’s stroller/carrier can be brought into the experience, we will have stroller parking on the side.

Q: How long is the Mapleview Gingerbread experience?
A: Approximately 20 minutes.

Q: When should I arrive for my reservation?
A: Please check in with our Gingerbread Magic staff 5 minutes in advance of your time.

A. In the event the shopping centre must close due to inclement weather, all bookings for that day will be refunded.

Q. Can you provide the Gingerbread Cookie ingredients list?
A. All the cookies are made by elves at MollyCake with sprinkles of holiday magic & cheer as the top secret ingredient...Shhh, don't tell anyone. Some more top secret ingredients include sugar, all purpose flour, brown sugar, molasses, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, baking soda, whole egg, butter.
Icing: modified cornstarch, icing sugar, water, vanilla, sunflower oil, canola oil, shortening, salt.
*may have come into contact with dairy.
*Cookies are not guaranteed nut free.

Products used at the Gingerbread Magic cookie decorating activity are produced in a facility containing milk, soy, nuts, nut products and gluten, among other allergens. Products may contain any of these items.

Please note we will have Allergy-Friendly Gingerbread Kits on site from Kelly's Bake Shoppe which are available upon request. These Kits are gluten-free, plant-based, dairy-free, peanut-free and egg-free, however we cannot guarantee a 100% nut free environment.
