Growing Mini Gardeners

Join us on July 5th and 6th for our exciting event, Growing Mini Gardeners! This event is perfect for kids of all ages who are eager to explore the wonders of gardening and unleash their creativity. Sessions will run from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm each day and are 20-30 minutes, giving you plenty of time to immerse yourself in the world of gardening and have a memorable day with your kids. Tickets are available for $20 per child.

Throughout the event, children will have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of plants and gardening. They'll engage in interactive activities that will spark their curiosity and nurture their green thumbs. One of the highlights is the chance to design their very own garden stone, a keepsake they can proudly display at home.

But that's not all! We have an eco-friendly twist to our event. Kids will have a blast colouring an activity sheet made of seed paper. Once they're done, they can plant the sheet and watch their artwork bloom into beautiful plants. It's a fun and sustainable way to encourage their love for nature.

To kickstart their gardening journey, each child will receive a mini garden kit to take home. They'll have everything they need to grow their own little garden. It's a fantastic hands-on experience that will teach them the joy of nurturing and watching plants thrive.

And as a special thank you for participating, every child will also receive a $10 gift card to Mapleview Centre. They can use it to explore the mall, shop for their gardening needs, or treat themselves to something special.

Every vegetable grown at Mapleview’s Garden rooftop finds its way to The Burlington Food Bank. By participating in our 'Growing Mini Gardeners' event, you'll not only enjoy an enriching experience, but also contribute to a noble cause. It's our way of supporting the community we cherish and have been backing for years at Mapleview.
