✨ The Magic of Christmas Comes to Kilkenny! ✨

There's something truly magical about Christmas — the twinkling lights, the familiar melodies, the excitement in the air and those wonderful films we return to year after year!

This December, the Marble City Music Festival invites you to wrap up warm, gather your family and friends, and enjoy a heartwarming evening filled with the music, memories and magic of Christmas! 🎄

From the mischievous adventures of Home Alone to the wonder of The Polar Express, the charm of The Snowman and the festive favourites of Love Actually, this sparkling concert brings some of Christmas's most beloved music to life.

The beautiful voice of soprano Megan Walsh joins the wonderful Tara Quartet, while the brilliant Rónán Scarlett adds an extra sprinkle of Christmas magic with xylophone, sleigh bells and festive percussion! Violinist Patrick Rafter also joins the celebrations for a selection of seasonal favourites.

Expect everything from Tchaikovsky's enchanting Nutcracker and Vivaldi's Winter to Walking in the Air, Somewhere in My Memory, Sleigh Ride, White Christmas and plenty of familiar Christmas songs to make you smile. 🔔

Set against the beautiful surroundings of St Canice’s Church, this promises to be a wonderful evening of warmth, nostalgia, festive cheer and glorious music — with something for every generation to enjoy.

Whether you're young or simply young at heart, there's a little Christmas magic here for everyone!

🎄 So gather your loved ones, wrap up warm and join us for a magical evening in the heart of Kilkenny! ✨

We can't wait to celebrate Christmas with you!
