✨ A Magical Musical Farewell to 2026! ✨

There is no better way to celebrate New Year’s Eve than with an unforgettable evening of beautiful music, sparkling virtuosity and joyful celebration!

Following the success of last year’s New Year’s Eve Gala, Marble City Music Festival invites you to join us once again in the magnificent surroundings of St Canice’s Church for a truly special evening featuring some of Ireland’s finest musicians.

🎻 Internationally acclaimed violinist Patrick Rafter joins the celebrated ConTempo String Quartet, alongside Paddy & Maura Duggan Rafter and the wonderful soprano Laura Ahearne, for a glittering programme of classical masterpieces, operatic favourites, festive treasures and magnificent Viennese waltzes.

🌟 From the sparkling brilliance of Handel’s Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and the breathtaking beauty of Puccini’s O mio babbino caro, to the irresistible excitement of Monti’s Csárdás, this promises to be an evening filled with musical magic.

🎄 Enjoy the warmth of beloved Christmas classics, including Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, Carol of the Bells, Ave Maria and the soaring beauty of O Holy Night.

🥂 And what better way to welcome the New Year than with the glorious Viennese tradition of Strauss’s The Blue Danube and the exhilarating Radetzky March, before bringing the evening to a heartwarming close with Auld Lang Syne!

Whether you are a lifelong lover of classical music or simply looking for something wonderful to do on New Year’s Eve, this is a celebration for everyone.

✨ Beautiful music. Wonderful musicians. A magical setting. The perfect way to say goodbye to 2026! ✨
