MARE - Workshop #1 - Animism in the Contemporary Realm. Re-cognition and co-creation

MARE's  first seminar from the Animism module comes to Stroud this November.

This workshop is run by artist/educator Geraldine Hudson who is also an independent scholar/practitioner of magic 

ANIMISM IN THE CONTEMPORARY REALM
How can we as Artists/Makers re-cognise, re-concile and co-create with the more than human.

This is the first seminar/workshop in a series using an alternative art school model, aiming to promote theoretical discussion and application of ideas which have been historically suppressed or sidelined in critical academic environments.

Your ticket includes the full day seminar workshop. Included in the price is the option to take part in a 2 hour zoom session with the group in a months time, where we review and analyse any work made in response to the workshop.

This school model is intended for those either potential, emerging or established artists who want to expand their theoretical toolkit regarding the many layered relationship between ecology and esoteric practices.

Please be aware the day will include meditation and discussion of magickal techniques, although prior knowledge isn't necessary an openness and ability to be receptive to non prescriptive thinking is.
