LOOKING OUTSIDE
A creative attention workshop facilitated by Marina Gross-Hoy, PhD
Saturday, September 5th @ 1pm EDT on Zoom
$30 (free for newsletter patrons)

Looking Outside is a creative attention workshop about slowing down to see in new ways. For one hour, we’ll gather together to look at the outdoors in art, play with immersion and interconnectedness, and turn that same attention toward our own wildness. Through simple guided activities inspired by museum visits, we’ll practice the art of embodied slow looking: outward and inward, with curiosity and openness.

This session will have you engaging with artwork as a way to explore the experience of being alive. You'll leave ready to see your daily life with fresh eyes.

“A moment out of time. A time to slow down in good company.”

“An opportunity to engage with your everyday environment after you've spent some time looking at art... to prompt looking at the everyday as art.”
