Paint & Crumb | A Cake Painting & Decorating Evening Beside Raphael's Park
Paint & Crumb | A Cake Painting & Decorating Evening Beside Raphael's Park
A relaxed, creative evening beside Raphael's Park in Romford. Paint and decorate your own beautifully prepared mini cake using edible colours, enjoy a welcome drink and small plates from Crem Kitchen's tasting menu, and leave with something you created yourself.
Hosted by Marisola Parlour at Crem Kitchen, Paint & Crumb is a seasonal cake painting and decorating workshop series designed for those who enjoy thoughtful food, gentle creativity and unhurried evenings in good company. Following a sold-out first session in June, we're back for our September edition.
About the experience
Set in the grounds beside Raphael's Park, our September Paint & Crumb session takes its cue from the softer light and early autumn colours settling over the lake as summer turns.
Each guest will receive their own fully prepared and iced mini cake, ready to paint using edible colours and brushes provided on the night. No cake decorating or painting experience is needed. This is not about perfecting a technique; it is about enjoying the process, trying something new and creating a cake that feels entirely your own.
Whether your design is soft and impressionistic or delicately detailed, you will be guided throughout while still having the freedom to follow your own creative direction.
Before the painting begins, Crem Kitchen will serve a generous selection of small plates, curated for the evening from plant-based and gluten-free options on their menu, alongside a welcome drink on arrival. Once you're settled, you'll move into painting your own cake at a relaxed pace. It is an evening to pause, make something by hand, catch up with a friend or simply enjoy a little time that feels genuinely unhurried.
This session, guests will paint inspired by seasonal arrangements from Olivia Rose Emporium, who joined us for the very first Paint & Crumb in June too.
