LONDON SHIP FINANCE FORUM 2026
FINANCING THE MARITIME TWIN TRANSITIONS
Current and future capital for digitalisation and decarbonisation
How can maritime businesses finance the twin transitions to lower emissions and greater digital capability?
Organised by Maritime London as part of its London Ship Finance Forum series, this event will be hosted by Norton Rose Fulbright, bringing together investors, capital providers and maritime industry leaders to examine both the funding available today and the sources of capital likely to shape the next phase of maritime investment.
Following an opening address, the panel will explore the shipping capital stack; the financing of vessel retrofits, efficiency measures and digital adoption; and the risk capital required to develop and scale new technologies.
We will consider where capital for maritime decarbonisation and digitalisation can come from today, how the financing requirements of established assets differ from those of emerging technologies, and which sources of capital could become increasingly important in the years ahead. The discussion will also consider the role of digital tools in improving efficiency, measuring emissions and supporting better investment decisions.
The event will be held on Monday, 2nd November at the DesignLab (Norton Rose Fulbirght LLP, 3 More London Riverside, London SE1 2AQ). The doors will open at 5.30pm with the seminar starting at 6pm. The event will conclude with networking drinks and nibbles. Attendance is free of charge and only by invitation.
Please note that attendance at this event is free; however, places are limited. We reserve the right to cancel or decline registrations at our discretion.
