Market Bosworth Rugby Club is turning 60 — and we’re celebrating in style with a full-scale summer festival for the whole community. Summer of 60 promises a full day (and night!) of music, laughter, and memories, bringing together players past and present, families, friends, and supporters for one unforgettable event.

This milestone event is about more than just the party. It’s a chance to celebrate six decades of rugby, friendships, and community spirit — while creating plenty of new memories together. Whether you’re a lifelong member, a former player, or part of the wider local community, everyone is welcome.

🏆 Touch rugby competition - Starts at 11am!
Get a team together and see if you've got what it takes to win our knockout touch tournament! Prizes awarded, enter your teams of up to 7 with festival entry included! Mixed teams welcome, age 17+! The winners will be presented their prizes at around 3pm.

From relaxed daytime fun to a buzzing late-night atmosphere, Summer of 60 is set to be one of the standout events of the year.

🚫 Important information:
For everyone’s safety, no glass or alcohol may be brought onto the site. A fully stocked bar will be available until close.

FAQs

What can I bring? Camping chairs and blankets are encouraged, snacks (although we have a great selection of local food vendors, so please support them and come hungry!) No glass of any kind, bag searches will take place at the entrance.

I am nothing to do with the club, can I still come? Definitely, everyone is welcome!

Are we able to BBQ? Unfortunately not due to the dry conditions and safety of all guests. 

Is the fun fair really free? Yes it is! The only additional charges on site will be for food and drink and any merch you might like! 

Can I bring my dog? For safety and comfort of all guests, dogs are not allowed. 

Is the event wheelchair accessible? Yes, the site is fully wheelchair accessible. Please contact us in advance for assistance.
