Henry VIII Used To Hate Us

Marketplace Arts presents: 

Ryan Gilmartin's Henry VIII Used To Hate Us - a new show rooted in our history: Fen Tigers, folklore, rebellion, and cheese.

An immersive theatre performance with folk music that brings you a close up (and fun!) view of Fenland history. 

Suitable for children aged 8 and over.

Venue and access information: This performance takes place in March library, City Road, March, PE15 9LT. The library has accessible parking, is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet. The performance will start at 7.15pm with a pre-show introduction that leads the audience into the performance space. There will be seating in a semi circle with a wide aisle down the middle. There will be one actor and two musicians playing live acoustic folk music. The performance will last one hour and 30 minutes, finishing at 8.45pm.

Pay What You Decide: We are offering this performance on a ‘pay what you can’ basis, with the option to select the price that feels most appropriate to you. Whatever price you choose will give you the same experience. The price options are: £0, £3, £5. No proof of status is required – it is self-administered on a trust basis. We hope those who can will pay the standard ticket price, and the affordable options will be accessed by those who need them.
