Tickets at Marlow Town Regatta

We are excited to see you at the upcoming Marlow Town Regatta & Festival over the weekend of 15th and 16th June.

With the unprecedented amount of rain this year, on Wednesday, the Marlow Town Regatta Racing Organising Committee were forced to replan the arrangements for the Saturday on-water rowing programme. This decision was taken as a result of the boat staging area and participants field being waterlogged and unsuitable. We are pleased to report however they will be staging adaptive rowing, demonstration events and invitation races, including our celebrated, Marlow’s Own boat race, between Great Marlow School and Sir William Borlase.

This doesn’t affect the Town Regatta & Festival arrangements over the weekend of the 15th and 16th, where the community can enjoy riverside picnicking, the Round Table bar, a lively music line-up, a classic car show, artisan food stalls, charity & trade stalls, amazing dragon boats and fun fair. These are just a few of the activities we have planned for everyone.

Enclosures

There are 2 enclosures, both of which have access to the river and the Round Table bar. The Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure maintains the traditional dress code and offers a first class view of the rowing and access to the grandstand and both enclosures. The Upper Enclosure enjoys the afternoon and evening music, food court and a view of the racing from just beyond the grandstand.  Please note:-

Dress code applies to Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure.

No dogs are allowed.

Alcohol cannot be brought into the event after 2pm.

You can become a Subscriber Member or buy a Ticket Badge for the daytime and evening event via the Buy Tickets button and these are valid until 9.50pm. Emailed tickets will be scanned and redeemed against traditional collectors' enamel or cardboard badges (see below) at the entrance gate.  

Regatta tickets also allow you to attend the evening music. However tickets are available for those that just wish to attend the evening music from 5pm onwards. See below.

Please bring printed tickets (preferred) or an image on your mobile phone. These will be scanned by our team and will be automatically checked against the database.  In some circumstance we will ask to see the original email we sent you.  Anyone attempting to present a ticket that has already been redeemed for a badge will be barred from the event.

If you are relying on an image on your mobile phone please ensure that it has fully downloaded before arriving at the event as mobile coverage cannot be relied on and there is no Wi-Fi at the entrance gate.

Types of Badges

Subscriber Member - £38 per year - Each Subscriber will :-

• receive an Enamel Subscriber Membership Badge (as below) which gives access to all enclosures and evening music.

• have Priority Booking of further badges and a picnic pitch.

• be entitled to attend, speak and vote at the Annual General Meeting of the Regatta.

Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure which Includes Upper Enclosure & Evening Music

Adult Ticket Badge         £30   in advance - £35 on the day

18 & over

Youth Ticket Badge        £19   in advance - £22 on the day

Under 18 and over 11

Upper Enclosure only which includes Evening Music

Adult Ticket Badge         £24    in advance - £28 on the day

18 & over

Youth Ticket Badge        £16    in advance - £19 on the day

Under 18 and over 11

Entry is free for children under 11

Upper Enclosure badges can be exchanged for a Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure badges on the day by paying the difference in price.

Please note that this year, Regatta Day tickets also include the evening music.  However tickets are available for those that just wish to attend the evening music from 5pm onwards. See below.

Trestle Tables        Available for Hire at £12 for the day to those who purchase a picnic pitch.

Competitors and Families of Competitors

Competitors can enter both enclosures wearing their rowing kit. If they wish to change they must comply with the dress code if they wish to go into the Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure. They must also wear a competitor's Rowing Badge (see example above) which can be obtained from Marlow Rowing Club at the registration tent in the regatta trailer field. These badges will not be available at the gate.

MTRF are pleased to offer badges to the Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure to parents and siblings of junior competitors at 50% of the normal price. This will give access to all areas including the Upper Enclosure (see badges above). However, please note that the dress code applies to those wishing to enter the Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure.

Evening Music (Saturday)

Tickets are also available here for the evening of Live and Disco Music which are valid from 5pm.  The concert will finish at 9.30pm. Please see the website for more details. 

The attendance is limited, so you must buy your tickets now.  The advance on-line ticket prices are:-

            Adult and Youth £16      

Under 18 and over 11

There is no guarantee that tickets will be available on the door.  However the on the door price will be:-             

            Adult and Youth £18      

Under 18 and over 11. Entry is free for children under 11

All electronic or paper tickets need to be redeemed against a wristband at the door.

Parking and Charges

Parking is available next to the Regatta and will be paid for on entry by cash or card. We are not issuing parking tickets except for Trade Stalls and some VIPs. Last entries to the parking will be at 17.00 hrs. Parking for the music only can be found at the nearby Court Gardens carpark or in Marlow itself. Further parking facilities will be published closer to the event.

If you have made the wrong selection but you have not completed the purchase or unselected it before leaving the page, it will take 30 minutes for the basket to clear.

The quoted ticket prices and those displayed on the Buy Tickets page include VAT at 20%. When you select a ticket it will display the net of VAT price.
