We are excited to see you at the upcoming Marlow Town Regatta & Festival over the weekend of 13th and 14th June.
This is a wonderful traditional event where the community can enjoy first class schools and adaptive rowing, including our celebrated, Marlow’s Own boat race, between Great Marlow School and Sir William Borlase School. In addition, we have riverside picnicking, the Round Table bar, a lively music line-up, a classic car show, artisan food stalls, charity & trade stalls, amazing dragon boats on the Sunday and fun fair. These are just a few of the activities we have planned for everyone.
We look forward to welcoming you back!
Enclosures
There are 2 enclosures, both of which have access to the river and the Round Table bar. The Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure (JCRE) maintains the traditional dress code and offers a first class view of the rowing. The Upper Enclosure enjoys the afternoon and evening music, classic cars and motorbikes display, food court and a limited view of the racing beyond the Riverside Enclosure. Picnic pitches are obtainable for the daytime part of the event and are valid until 7pm in the Riverside Enclosure and until 10pm in the Upper Enclosure.
The pitch sizes are: - Generally - 5.0m x 3.5m Row A - 6.0m x 3.5m
Picnic pitches must not have enclosed backs as this blocks the view of neighbouring pitches and detracts from the ambience of the event. Please note:-
Dress code applies to Jim Campbell Riverside Enclosure.
No dogs are allowed except for certified companion dogs with accredited training.
Alcohol cannot be brought into the event after 12 noon.
You are not entitled to a refund.
Please note that by purchasing a picnic pitch, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions and you are responsible for the behaviour of your guests.

Click on the Buy Picnic Pitches button to display the interactive layout which allows you to select a pitch.
The option to hire a Trestle Table Table (max 2 per pitch) at £15 per table is shown below the interactive layout. You can only hire a table if you have purchased a pitch, so you will be asked for your pitch number.
The pitches can be secured by clicking a coloured circle in the layout. The different colours denote different price groups. Pitches that have been taken already will be in grey. For a mobile phone or iPad, you may need to zoom in. The selected pitch will then display a box that allows you to purchase the pitch. The purchase will then appear in a list below the layout.
We are not posting picnic pitch cards. Please bring your emailed ticket or have it available on your phone.
If you have made the wrong selection but you have not completed the purchase or unselected it before leaving the page, it will take 30 minutes for the basket to clear.
The quoted picnic pitch prices and those displayed on the Buy Picnic Pitches page are zero rated for VAT.
Please note there is an administration fee per pitch of 5% of the pitch price. The 5% will not be shown on the pitch price at purchase but will be added to the checkout sum.
