Mary Stanford: Let's Misbehave! a cabaret tribute to Cole Porter

Sun Apr 19, 2026 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM The Three Clubs, 90038

Get ready for a night of sophisticated wit, whimsy and a whole lot of mischief in Mary Stanford's sparkling retro cabaret tribute to the music of Cole Porter, LET'S MISBEHAVE.

From the seductive rhythms of "Night and Day" to the cheeky cleverness of "Let's Do It (Let's Fall in Love)", Cole Porter was an elegant iconoclast who pushed the boundaries of the Great American songbook to new heights. LET'S MISBEHAVE seamlessly weaves together some of Porter's most timeless hits with rarely-heard hidden gems while exploring the joys and the consequences of defying society's expectations.

Mary Stanford has performed as a featured solist at music venues across LA, including Disney Concert Hall, Royce Hall, and the Cicada Club, where she often performed with Dean Mora's big band. In 2025, she received the American Songbook Association's Pomranz Performance Grant (and was the only West Coast based recipient). LET'S MISBEHAVE is her second collaboration with musical director, Bob Remstein, and marks the debut of her new band, Mary Stanford & the High Notes. Featuring violin and woodwinds in addition to piano and bass, The High Notes aren't your normal jazz combo. They're a perfect accompaniment for Mary's cabaret style in which, as Cole Porter put it, anything goes!

Visit Mary's website for more info and videos of her past performances.
