Give A Shuck' Fundraiser
Give a Shuck Fundraiser benefiting the Massachusetts Oyster Project
Sunday, October 8 from 3-7:00 pm ET
Community Rowing, 20 Nonantum Road Brighton, MA
Join us on Sunday October 8th at Community Rowing for an afternoon of oysters, drinks, live music, silent auction, and games.
Proceeds from each ticket sale will directly support Massachusetts Oyster Project programs.

The Massachusetts Oyster Project is a nonprofit organization working to strengthen our coastal environment by restoring native shellfish populations to our beaches and coastal estuaries. With your help, we'll be able to expand our shell recycling program in Wellfleet and beyond, and add more upwellers (nurseries for baby oysters) so we can get more oysters into Massachusetts waters.
Oysters provide important environmental services, like improving shoreline resilience and water quality. Did you know that one oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day?
About the Event
Our event will take place at Community Rowing's beautiful outdoor space, located on the scenic Charles River. We will have live music, games, and libations to keep the good vibes flowing, food trucks serving up delicious eats, and oysters on the half shell.
The event will be catered by Hometown Poke and Kush food trucks.
Entertainment will be provided by the Splinters, a local bluegrass and old-time string band with a relentless groove to accompany their 3 part harmonies.
The event is open to all ages, so bring your family.
