Virtual Cafe
Multiple dates and times
Online, Zoom
Description
Step into The MCAS Virtual Café, where the spotlight isn't on MCAS, but on the connections made within. It's an online rendezvous for those touched by MCAS to unwind, share stories, and simply enjoy each other's company.
Sip your favourite beverage, cozy up in your favourite spot, and let the conversations flow. Whether you're, discussing hobbies, or sharing anecdotes from your day, this virtual social space is all about fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among its attendees.
No need for labels or medical jargon – here, everyone is simply themselves. So, come as you are and join us for The MCAS Virtual Café, where the focus is on laughter, friendship, and the joy of being together.
This event will be hosted by Mast Cell Action's Director of Operations, Services and Engagement Joy Mason.
What you need to know
We will be running these sessions virtually through Zoom, you are welcome to attend with your microphone and camera off if you feel more comfortable doing so. We will email out the Zoom link to join 1 hour before the session start time. Please check your spam folder if you can't find this link.
Please book a place for everyone who will be attending online, even if you'll be attending using the same device. This helps us keep the event running smoothly and safely and also helps us to decide what kind of events to organise in the future. We will be taking a register so if there are a large number of participants, it may take a while – please be patient if you are in the waiting room. It will make the process of admitting people and taking the register much quicker if you could change your name before joining, to the name you used when booking. You can access a step by step on how to change your name here.
Please contact events@mastcellaction.org with any questions.
Attendance is free, although donations are much appreciated as this helps us to keep the lights on and to keep delivering essential support and services for people living with MCAS. If you are able to do so, there is an option to make a donation, when booking your spot.
Places are limited, so please do let us know if you change your mind or your plans change so we can offer the spot to someone else.
