Foundational Course I: Earth -Floor Ties (beginners)

5 Elements, 5 foundational concepts. Discover the roots of your Shibari practice in the first course of our Foundations Series “Earth”. Ground yourself in the essential element of Earth—our source of stability and strength—through floor-based ties designed to deepen your connection and creativity.
This first course focuses on mastering foundational techniques including:
Single Column Tie, Double Column Tie, rope handling, body handling, joining rope, basic frictions and a variety of harnesses such as Bunny Ears, Agura, Futo Momo, Hands-in-Front, etc.

We will also cover essentials like communication, consent and safety. We teach from both sides of the rope and will give room for bottoming skills as well.

Whether you're new to Shibari or looking to revisit your basics, "Earth" will provide the essential building blocks to support your journey with intention and confidence. Join us to cultivate your grounding energy and unlock the full potential of your practice.
