This workshop is a deep dive into the building blocks of a Gote and explore them through a holistic and nuanced lens. Throughout the workshop, we will explore several styles of Gote (common stemmed and stemless Gotes, 2-rope and 3-rope Gotes) and examine how different approaches can serve different bodies, intentions, and emotional contexts. We will highlight the unique traits, advantages, and potential challenges of each variation so you can make informed decisions of how you want to tie or adapt your Gote. You will have time to explore each version from technical and emotional perspectives.
You will have time to explore the Gote not merely as a harness but as a tie in and of itself that offers different narratives and ask questions as well as share insights of your own journey.

Riggers: Ability to tie a safe and structurally sound Gote. Understanding of nerve impingement checks and communication of suspension risks to your partner
