Milky Way Style with NawaNinja (beginner and all levels)

Milky Way is a small, but growing style of rope based on soft-core BDSM practices, unique tensioning, quick constriction, and subtle sensation driven rope handling. Although learning new shapes to tie your model is fun, it isn’t the main point of the style. Learning how to connect with your partner through the process of tying and by how one ties is more central to this style’s practice.

About Tensho:
Tensho was created as a tension exercise, and became so popular with models that it is now one of the core techniques that the style is known for. It is a simple one rope chest tie yet there are seven levels that riggers must pass before graduating this first tie. As such, it is a great introduction to the skills needed to learn at Milky Way.

Workshop Structure:
During the workshop, we will go over the basics of this tie and practice some of the more intermediate aspects. Time permitting, we will also explore the leg version of this tie. Rope handling and basic ideas for how to create a safe, sensual tie will also be explored.

About NawaNinja:
Nawaninja, aka Ropefoto, has been learning at Milky Way for the last 2 1/2 years and teaching there for the last year and a half. Prior to studying at Milky Way, he graduated from Hajime Kinoko’s Ichinawa group class after being introduced to Kinbaku by models he was photographing in Europe 4 years ago.

If available a length of 10m rope or two 8m ropes
