This course grounds your practice in solid, floor-based tying while developing trust, communication, and technique. You’ll learn essential techniques — including Single and Double Column Ties, frictions, and foundational harnesses.

By the end of this course, you’ll have reliable tools you can return to again and again, and the confidence to create simple, connected scenes that feel good for both partners.

This first course focuses on mastering foundational techniques including:
Single Column Tie, Double Column Tie, rope handling, body handling, joining rope, basic frictions and a variety of harnesses such as Bunny Ears, Agura, Futo Momo, Hands-in-Front, etc.

We will also cover essentials like communication, consent and safety. We teach from both sides of the rope and will give room for bottoming skills as well.

Whether you're new to Shibari or looking to revisit your basics, "Earth" will provide the essential building blocks to support your journey with intention and confidence. Join us to cultivate your grounding energy and unlock the full potential of your practice.

Level: all levels, there are no prerequisites for this course

What to wear: Comfortable clothes you can freely and easily move around in

What to bring: Water bottle, snacks, an open mind and an open heart.
