Enhancing the Personal Touch with AI

Join us at Maui Tech 'Ohana to hear how AI is providing a better personal experience. Guest Speakers, Dana and Josh Ellis will talk-story about their high-growth AI startup, Abra - the AI Guest Intelligence Platform for Hospitality. Dana is the Co-Founder & Chief Hospitality Officer of Abra and a Hotel Manager at Hotel Wailea. A graduate of Boston University's School of Hospitality Administration, Dana will share her experience leading operations teams for some of the world's leading luxury hotel brands (Four Seasons, Peninsula, and Relais & Chateaux) and the challenges that led her to build Abra. Co-founder and CEO, Josh will share how his diverse career helped him to build skills that prepared him to lead a high-growth AI startup.

You will hear and learn:

  • The value and impact of the growing Hawaii tech ecosystem, and how to leverage it;
  • What AI changes for entrepreneurs, and what stays the same; and
  • Lessons learned from the front lines of building a venture-scale AI company.
