A Day on the Farm with Max
Farm-to-Table Experience at ZeroDig, Oakbrook Farm (Stroud)
After the success of our first ever Day on the Farm, we’re excited to invite you back for another day at ZeroDig — this time in full spring mode.
The farm is waking up. There’s more growing, more planting, more colour in the fields and a lot more happening day to day. This experience is all about reconnecting with where food really comes from, spending time outdoors, getting your hands in the soil and sharing good food with good people.
You’ll spend the morning alongside the growers at ZeroDig, learning about the soil, helping harvest seasonal produce and more about regenerative farming and how we grow food on the farm. Then we’ll head into the kitchen where Max has prepared lunch - cooking something simple and seasonal using ingredients we’ve just picked together, before we all sit down to share lunch around the table.
This is a relaxed and welcoming day designed for anyone curious about food, farming, seasonality, sustainability, or simply wanting to spend a slower day outdoors connected to nature and community.
Spaces are very limited.
By the end of the day, you’ll leave with fresh inspiration, a deeper connection to food, and a small seasonal farm-made gift to take home.

FAQs
Do I need farming experience?
Not at all — everything is beginner-friendly and guided throughout the day.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes, but children must be supervised at all times due to tools, uneven ground and working farm activity.
What happens if it rains?
The farm carries on in most weather — so we do too. Just come prepared.
