Nature Journaling is designed to teach you how to turn your field observations into confident drawings. The course leads you from basics of gesture drawing that allows you to express bird movement, through proportions to layout and composition, providing you with everything you need to keep a personal birdwatching journal – instead of just filling up pre-printed pages. (Extra): Field Session – this is a voluntary and free field trip, organised based on participants’ availability and interest
Everyone is welcome to join the field session, regardless of how many workshop classes they attended. The aim is simply to come together, share knowledge, and practice the skills developed throughout the workshop.

Materials
All drawing material is provided, but sketchbooks should be purchased before the course by the participants! It is recommended to bring a minimum A5 landscape/portrait sketchbook with hard-cover binding.

The sessions take place indoors in a studio space. You can join single sessions.
