Hey Party People!
Fri Feb 23, 2024 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM
Mayo Street Arts, 04101
Description
Hey Party People! is back again with their most normal, regular, simple, disgusting, casual, regular sketch comedy show.
Nothing strange is going on... why do people keep asking that? Can't the simple fact of the matter be that we're just some normal people doing a normal comedy show with no ulterior motives? We did the Miley Cyrus thing last show and we just want to be normal now.
To show you how normal and well-behaved we are, we've decided to produce this show at a theater named after the blandest condiment on earth, Mayo Street Arts! We're SUPER excited to be performing at MSA, where, again, there isn't anything weird going on, we're just gosh darn ready to perform at one of Portland's best venues.
This show will just be a run-of-the-mill, average, AHHHHHHH, everyday, ordinary sketch comedy show.
Positive mental attitude and joyous laughter mandatory for entry. Dress code: casual. Plus ones encouraged. Masks optional. No funny business. Beer and wine for sale. Please, no gifts.
Featuring: Greg Baker, Chad Moore, Anne Tibbetts, Pete Parsons, Alex Campbell, Mo Conley, Jessie Schneider, and Greg Lambert with stand up comedy by Leah Douglass.

Friday, February 23 at 7:00 PM (doors 6:30 PM), approximately 60-75 minutes, with an intermission
Tickets are available for $15 in advance, $18 at the door, and $22 for preferred seating (pay-what-you-can available)
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Hey Party People! is Maine's ONLY live sketch comedy group (think like Saturday Night Live, Monty Python, Key & Peele). Founded in February, 2022, they've been bringing this quick, punchy form of comedy back to Maine and back with a force. They have been featured in the Portland Maine Comedy Festival, PortFringe Fest, the Georgia Comedy Film Festival, and scored a 980 on their SATs.
