Description
13 bands, 4 nights, 0 tourists – New England’s underground bands are climbing to the surface for THE BIRDCAGE – a festival at Mayo Street Arts dedicated to emerging alternative music from Maine and away.
For two whole weekends (June 21 & 22 and June 28 & 29), MSA will be rattled by viscous punk drums, ripfire guitar solos, guttural hardcore vocals, and whatever else puts our windows in danger of blowing out.
Every night is a unique lineup. Details below for Saturday, June 29:
Secret Work
Peace Breaker

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Secret Work = Maine Hardcore
Peace Breaker is Bryan Giasson, Nick Hughes, Ben Johnson, Tyler Johnson-Martin, and Bently Hamilton.
nightlights is a bassist, vocalist, and producer from coastal Maine. Passionate about heavy music, nightlights seeks to challenge standing ideas of "heavy' rap" — tipping the scales in favor of metal music while boasting a sense of swagger and pose unknown throughout the genre. Blistering, dark — every song is an anthem, a feral tribute to resilience and strength.
Thanks to Monaco Studios for providing generous audio production support for the festival
